"White will treat you right!"
I have been in the real estate business since 1966, first as an agent for E.M. Conant
Realty, then opening my own office in July of 1968 as John White Realty. In 1995 I sold
my office and since then have worked as an agent; listing and selling properties, plus
appraising for banks or estates for the courts.
Graduate of Waterloo High School in 1940. I also have hundreds of hours of real estate
credits since 1980. I was President of the Athens County Board of Realtors for five
years and held many other offices on the local Board as well. I served on the Habitat
for Humanity board and the Salvation Army board. I have also been a trustee to OAR for
many years. My wife, Jackie, and I have five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Both of us are members of The Plains United Methodist Church.
I have always enjoyed helping people find the home of their dreams. I also get great
satisfaction helping people sell their homes quickly so that they may move on with their
lives.
